Pastor Esther Kamba is the Senior Midwife Pastor of Gates of Destiny Ministries and Destiny Midwives Christian Church (DMCC), a ministry committed to raising people of impact and honour and helping individuals discover, develop and fulfil their God-given destinies.

Following the passing of her late husband and ministry founder, Apostle Paul Kamba, in February 2018, Pastor Esther stepped into the leadership of the ministry during a defining season in its history. With faith, courage and a deep commitment to the calling entrusted to the ministry, she embraced the responsibility of stewarding the vision and leading the church into its next chapter.

Under her leadership, DMCC has remained firmly rooted in its foundational pillars of prayer, the Word of God, discipleship, purpose, honour and spiritual growth. Pastor Esther continues to champion the ministry’s mandate of raising men and women who are spiritually grounded, strong in character and equipped to make a meaningful impact in their families, communities, professions and spheres of influence.

At the heart of her ministry is a passion for seeing people encounter God and become everything He has called them to be. She believes that every individual carries a unique purpose and that, through prayer, sound biblical teaching, mentorship and the work of the Holy Spirit, people can be equipped to overcome limitations and walk confidently in their divine assignments.

Pastor Esther carries forward the distinctive Destiny Midwives mandate—the conviction that the Church has a role in helping people bring forth the potential and purpose God has placed within them. Her leadership reflects a commitment not only to preserving the legacy upon which the ministry was built, but also to continually developing and strengthening the vision for future generations.

She is passionate about building a church culture characterised by honour, excellence, integrity, unity and compassion, where people can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships and be empowered to serve God with their gifts.

The ministry’s anchor in Joel 2:1–9 continues to shape this vision: raising a disciplined, prayerful and courageous generation that understands its assignment, overcomes obstacles, walks in unity and refuses to break rank.
